Oxolan is a software company that makes a local-network (LAN) file-sharing application for Windows and macOS offices. Machines running Oxolan discover each other automatically and move files directly between them — encrypted with TLS 1.3, at full network speed, with nothing ever uploaded to a cloud server.

The app exists because Windows file sharing keeps breaking: network discovery dies after updates, mapped drives drop mid-copy, and errors like 0x80070035 return no matter how many times they are fixed. Oxolan replaces that entire stack with its own discovery and transfer protocol, so offices stop losing hours to networking archaeology.
